The contact owns a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. The contact stated the gear lever was shifted into park and the vehicle accelerated into reverse unintendedly. The brake pedal was engaged; however the vehicle failed to slow down and then crashed into a nearby house. There was no personal injuries. A police report was filed.
