Fuel Injection Problems of Hyundai Elantra

Fuel injection and computer failure at approximately 5,600 miles. Car stalled in the middle of the highway without warning.

I had an issue in early June regarding my 2008 Hyundai Elantra. Car began to hesitate and stalled out. It was told back to dealership, which could not recreate the problem and informed me it was a fuel injection misfire, rebooted computer and said it would not happen again. On July 3rd, I had the exact same situation occur on my trip while driving on I-95 to visit family in delaware. Dealership in delaware on July 7th informed me I had a defective fuel pump and replaced it on July 8th. Leads me to believe that was problem in June and dealership I purchased car from did not investigate the problem properly.

On the evening of 6/27, my son was driving our 2002 Hyundai Elantra. There were three other passengers in the vehicle. A deer ran in front of the vehicle, and my son veered off to the right (in an attempt to avoid hitting the deer), ran off the shoulder of the road, and into a ditch. The vehicle did not roll over, but it came to rest on it's right side. The two front and two side airbags did not deploy. A fire ignited (almost immediately) in the engine compartment area of the vehicle. All passengers were wearing seat belts, and through the grace of god, all were able to escape the vehicle before it became thoroughly engulfed in flames. This is related to the fuel tank assembly recall 04v178000.

Vehicle has been in repair shop more than 4 times for stalling failure. Dealership was unable to duplicate problem, and was given back. Vehicle stalled while crossing railroad tracks. Please describe details.
