The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to operate and the contact would have to depress the brake pedal firmly to stop the vehicle. 2 Brake Master Cylinder problem

The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. While merging into another lane, the contact stated that the brakes were depressed and failed to engage. The contact pulled the emergency brake in order to stop the vehicle. The trunk would also open inadvertently. The dealer repaired the failure by replacing the master cylinder and module for the braking system and also advised the contact to open the trunk manually.
