There is a recall on my 2012 Hyundai Sonata motor. Which has caused the motor to lock up. Hyundai is refusing to fix the recall issue. Both dealership and customer care have stated that the motor locked up due to the recall but they are refusing to fix the issue, stating it is my fault. My car had 130k miles on it. The dealership has had my car for 2 months and they never contact me regarding the progress on my car, I have had to contact them.
1#. Air . #2 not inspección 1year ago. #3 air bag lihg warning was the first day a buy tne car. Never im put interés now im know is bad in damgere.
1. Air bag light is on. 2. Car does not start. Both of these problems re-occured after inspected & serviced by Hyundai.
No incident. Airbag warning light is always on. This is an going issue with Hyundai Sonata 2012. Contacted the dealer since it is a safety issue, but they said it is not under warranty. I know several people have the same model of the car and have the same issue with the airbag light. This issue should be recalled because it a is a safety issue.
Air bag light won’t turn off.
Aire bag ligh on.
While driving and turning the steering wheel there is a knocking sound. The driver seat belt does not lock when hitting brakes and is loose. The passenger window on one side does not go down. The airbag signal stays on.
So many issues my cars had. . . 1 owner and several issues sadly could only pick 3: seat belt won't click on driver side sometimes it gets stuck, had the steering buttons fixed due to getting stuck, front passenger wheel has been checked several times due to the wheel vibrating when you hit a bump, hybrid battery went bad before 50,000, reading all the engine issues around 160, I'm thinking I need to back away from Hyundai forever!!! most recent hybrid warning do not drive & after researching there's been several issues with this, I'm thinking we could start a small class action suit against Hyundai!!!! car shut down and wouldn't go anywhere.
The engine jus started knocking after I got a oil change and tuneup.
The vehicle has been parked in the driveway of our home and has not been driven for several days. Today, it was noticed that the side passenger airbag from the front window column deployed all on its own! there was no one in the vehicle fortunately whenever it went off.
Seems steering column is defective, keep giving clanking sounds. Also airbag warning sign keeps coming.
When driving there is a clicking noise coming from the steering wheel and shaking of the car and when running over man holes.
The power to the engine cuts out when the lights are turned on.
The vehicle has been at the dealer for more than 60 days and the manufacturer will not proceed with the repair of the safety recalls.
When I look up recalls on my vehicle, I get this summary: manufacturer recall number174 NHTSA recall number18v137000 recall statusrecall incomplete when I took it to the dealer, they said no outstanding recalls were shown for my vehicle??? what does this mean???.

Back in December, 2018, I noticed two large cracks on the passenger side dashboard where the air bag is. The cracks have only been getting longer and I fear for my safety. . . The airbag can deploy at any time or the airbag possibility won't deploy if I get into an accident. I have reached out to Hyundai and the Hyundai executives, as this has been a known issue with Hyundai and the Sonatas and they will not tdo anything to replace the dashboard for using defective materials. This is a major safety issue and something that Hyundai should recall and fix.
Driving home on November 24th 2018 I was on a gram to market road and a deer jumped in front of the car. When I went to brake and the car made a high screetch and didn't stop. When I hit the deer neither airbag deployed. It had just been returned to me from the previous engine recall.

There is a recall on my car recalls are #174 and 160 and I am dealing with these issues unfortunately I have a problem because the airbags can't be fixed because there hasn't been a way to fix them. But I have noticed that there is a real hard shaking in and loud and aggressive tapping in the wheel column makes this sound when u go to a certain speed. For over 60 mph. The knocking goes fast and makes it difficult to steer the wheel especially, on the highway. I am very concerned about all of these issues with this car. Going to meet with the dealer in tomorrow to see how I can be assisted with this issue.
