No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

The contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the vehicle was difficult to start on several occasions, and took several attempts to start. The contact also stated that the trunk of the vehicle would open independently sometimes. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed. The contact was informed by pecheles automotive that there would be a cost for the vehicle to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was unknown.

Trunk was opening on its own intermittantly. This was our 55000 mile scheduled service so we reported it. They checked and found nothing wrong but told us they greased the trunk latch and it should be fixed. A few weeks later it is happening again. We think its an electronic defect, but by the time they figure it out we'll be out of warranty. We don't dare put anything of value in the car.
