1 Automatic Transmission Torque Converter problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2018

After 3 hours of highway driving after buying certified used car check engine light comes on. I drive for another hour and then have the code scanned. The code reader says "torque converter solenoid". As well as transmission temp sensor car has 87000 miles roughly. . . As well as sitting at a stop rpms are all up and down engine revs with foot on break and not even touching gas. Vehicle jerks forward when driving on highway and occasionally while parked.

2 Automatic Transmission Torque Converter problem

Failure Date: 04/12/2015

After 2 hours of highway driving at 70 mph, check engine light comes on. I drive for another hour and then have the code scanned. The code reader says "torque converter solenoid". Hyundai will not pay for any of the repairs. I know there is a tech. Service bulletin for this, so I wanted to nhsta to make note I have problems with this such that it may turn into a recall.
