While the vehicle was being parked, the contact noticed that the driver side seat belt did not hold her securely; the seat belt latched her in but did not hold her upper body correctly and tighten. The vehicle had not been taken to an authorized dealer or repaired. The manufacturer had not been notified. The failure mileage was 1,580 and the current mileage was approximately 1,600.
