6 Visibility problem of the 2005 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 06/10/2010

2005 Hyundai Tucson, purchased used. Both sun visors are cracked where they attach to the vehicle. The drivers side visor cannot be used as it swings freely and obstrucs vision. The passenger side is cracked in exactly the same way. The sonata visors were recalled, the Tucson appears to be the same design but has not been recalled and are very expensive to replace. Looking for used parts at junk yards we found all of the visors were cracked in the same manner. Appears to be a dangerous, faulty design.

7 Visibility problem of the 2005 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/01/2009

The back hatch window of my 2005 tuscon broke, sending the right 1/2 of the window flying down about 2 feet. The back door/hatch latch is also broken, you can't shut it without pulling he latch back out manually first after opening it. Has been over a month and 1/2 ;parts still not all in. Also, the gas cap latch is rested and I fear next to break.
