Two problems related to side/window air bag have been reported for the 2004 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Car accelerated after coming to a standstill in parking bay ran over curb hit a tree. And went down an embankment. The passenger airbag deployed but the drivers side airbag did not.
The contact owns a 2004 Infiniti G35. While driving in reverse at 1 mph, the two side air bags deployed. There was no impact, crash, or warning lights prior to the failure. The air bag light began flashing after the failure occurred. The vehicle was driven to the dealer and is currently being inspected. The current and failure mileages were 50,000.
