1 Brake Abs Warning Light problem

Failure Date: 02/11/2019

While driving straight on interstate I-95 during rush hour at approximately 30 miles/hour, I pressed on the brakes and the pedal dropped down and started making a weird noise (like grinding sound) and the car wouldn't stop. The abs light turned on, check engine light turned on, the pedal lost pressure and the brakes locked up. I ended up in a crash, rear-ending the vehicle in front of me. The car has now been repaired from damages from crash but mechanic found no problem with brake system. Abs sensors, calipers, disks and pads where changed as precaution but problem reappears from time to time and seems to reset when vehicle is turned off and on again (brake petal raised back up, grinding sound disappears and the check engine light and abs light shut off). I visited two infinity dealers and both of them mentioned that it was a recurring problem with this model car and the problem was an issue with the master cylinder's design.

2 Brake Abs Warning Light problem

Failure Date: 12/17/2017

While driving ,I pressed on the brakes and the pedal dropped down and started making a weird noise kind of like loose metal parts and the truck wouldn't stop. The abs light turned on. It felt like the brakes locked up . I managed to pull to the side of the road and shut the truck off. I turned it back on and it seemed to reset the system. Brake petal raised back up and the check engine light shut off.

3 Brake Abs Warning Light problem

The contact owns a 2005 Infiniti Qx56. The contact stated that the brakes failed shortly after the vehicle was purchased. The dealer repaired the brakes but the failure occurred again two years later. The abs light illuminated and the contact turned the vehicle off and back on. The dealer stated that the main computer system that signaled the brakes was the cause of the failure; they also stated that they could not repair the vehicle because it was out of warranty. The failure mileage was 87,000 and the current mileage was 103,000.
