The vehicle will lose power to the brakes while driving intermittently. When problem occurs you will lose power steering and pressure to braking system. Also the driver hid headlamp gets moisture in it whenever it rains. I have had to replace the hid bulb about 6 times in the past year. Also there seems to be an electrical issue with the onboard computer that causes the tachometer to not work or read correctly.
When applying the brakes, the brake pedal was soft and the front tires had grinding and chattering noises like a abs brake system malfunction. The care would not stop very well. The vehicle was going slow on dry pavement so there was not reason for abs to activate. Continued to have this problem each of the dozen times I applied the brakes until I pulled into a costco parking lot. One of their mechanics drove the car and noticed the problem, but when we inspected it, it had nothing to do with the tire balancing that was just performed on the vehicle. I shut the vehicle off and turned it back on and the brakes worked normally. This has happened while my wife has driven the vehicle about 10 times in the last 4 years, but this was the first time it's happened with me when driving. Very dangerous. The description sited in the class action lawsuit fully describes my experience. . Read more...
