2 Tire Blowout problem of the 2004 Jaguar X-type

Failure Date: 09/21/2009

I recently purchased a Jaguar with fuzion hri 225/45/17 tires. I noticed that one of the tires had a six inch circumferential separation at the lettering on the inside sidewall. The tire still had 9/32 of 10/32 treadwear available. The tire was replaced with a new identical tire under manufactures warranty. I then noticed that the other front tire had an identical but shorter separation on the inside sidewall. The dealer was again contacted and advised of the defect. The dealer representative is contacting the manufacturer of fuzion tires to check for a developing trend. I myself googled the tire for other reported defects. I found several incidents of unexplained tire blowouts involving the fuzion hri that were reported to various websites. The fuzion tire is not among the choices on your website drop menus.

3 Tire Blowout problem of the 2002 Jaguar X-type

Failure Date: 07/18/2007

This car has been a disappointment since day one. I bought this off lease from bournival Lincoln/Mercury in July 2005. Since then. . . First was the constant condensation of the windows. . . Something about heater core and seals needed to be replaced. Then the check engine light kept coming on, drive 115 miles to the jag dealer and be told nothing is wrong on multiple occasions. The sun room failed and had to be replaced. When this happened the passenger front seat belt would no longer pull out-completely inoperable. Next cam the chugging, chugging,go syndrome. Ws told it had something to do with fuel sensors and oxygen sensors. Tire blow out on the highway (with kids and mother in the car). Now the bolts holding the strapping to secure the fuel tank fell out. The dealer ship tells me---not from rust---but they are alleging from some sort of valdalism--so I have to pay to have these replaced. Yup. . . It's been an expensive two years. . . . $24,000 for the car, twice towed, warranty covered repair expenses +/- $4,000; uncovered repair expenses still incurring-but it's over $1,500 at last count. . Not to mention numerous drives to Jaguar dealers (this means taking the day off from work). . . . When I bought the car, I purchased a Ford premium care extended warranty, because, as I was informed, "any Ford dealer should be able to handle the car". . . Untrue.

4 Tire Blowout problem of the 2007 Jaguar X-type

Failure Date: 03/05/2007

I have had the car for only 19 months. Had all 4 tires blow out, replaced it in less then one year, then had two more replaced for thread issue. Due to the tires and alignment , had left fender incident and right fender incident. On the left incident was making a left turn on the highway when my car started pushing me to the left, the other car saw me coming in to her when , I couldn't stop it from pushing it's self more to the left. I reported this to my insurance, but they told me there was nothing I could do. So I was blamed for this incident. After that I went to the dealer and they gave me an alignment. They told me there was nothing they could do for the tires and the incident that was caused. They told me there not responsible for the tires. The right fender incident was the same thing. The driver saw that I was making a right turn with my right blinker on, car started swerving more to the right and we both hit each other. Cops came and told us both that he wouldn't file it as an accident, that we both had to report it to our insurance. Both incidents were never posted as accidents. I have noticed that no one wants to help me. Not my insurance not the dealer. I have been so frustrated with this car , it's a 2007 car . I have filed a complaint against the dealer, but there telling me I need to be realistic, how more realistic can I get. I'm scared to drive this car, but I have no choice I need to get to work.
