The transmission sticks in drive. Jaguar service action k048 was performed after about the fourth time it stuck in gear. After dealer had car for several days only 2 hours after picking it up it was dragged with the wheels locked up back on the tow truck with the transmission stuck in drive. The car has been at the dealer now for 15 days and all we are being told is that the transmission control switch (tcs) is broken and there are no replacements available. We were not even given any estimate of when the car will be repaired or if it can be repaired. This is a very serious safety defect with this transmission I have read enough blogs to know that all Xf's have this transmission defect and this should be a major recall item. I'm going to ask Jaguar to purchase the car back.
