1 Brake Fluid Leak problem of the 2011 Jaguar XF

The contact owns a 2011 Jaguar Xf. While the vehicle was idling at a stop light, a popping sound was heard and the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence with the brake warning indicator illuminated. Upon exiting the vehicle, the contact noticed an oil burning odor and fluid leaking from the passenger side of the engine compartment. The dealer (park place Jaguar Land Rover dfw, 1300 e state highway 114, dallas, TX 75261) was contacted and an appointment was scheduled to have the vehicle diagnosed and repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.
