The air bag light comes on an d will not go off. The light say service air bag. Have taken it to a dealership to check the issue. They thought pinched wire and they repaired it; however after 2 days the light returned. First light came on 07/19/2020 and took the dealer to run diagnostic test to see what the issues 07/29/2020.

Air bag light coming on intermittently. And a message on the screen that the air bag system needs repair. I called one dealer and they could not even give me a day to bring it in. Stopped at another dealer and it was about 13 days before I could get it in. I did finally get it into the dealer. That very day there was a report to the dealers of an issue. That was on June 20. They do have a recall online, I have received nothing in the mail. There still is no fix apparently. It has been over a month. This happens when the vehicle is in motion.
Tl the contact owns a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. While driving, the air bag indicator remained illuminated. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,000.
