The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Commander limited. The contact was driving 65 mph when the engine stalled. The throttle control and traction warning lights illuminated during the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they confirmed that the throttle body needed to be replaced along with updates that needed to be performed on the computer. The manufacturer was contacted but the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 87,147 and the current mileage was 90,000.
