1 Battery Cable problem

Failure Date: 07/31/2014

My car- I was able start it twice after a few simple test. - I made sure the battery cable/terminals were tight, I turned everything off, and I then cut it off. On the 3rd time it did nothing. No dash light radio, no a/c, windows not working. The headlights and interior lights work so battery is fine. The key will lock or unlock the doors. The starter works.

2 Battery Cable problem

Failure Date: 08/27/2010

While driving, pulled to red light and stopped. 2008 Jeep Commander with the v6 shut down, lost all power. Key would not disengage, totally locked up. Called for roadside and after fifteen minutes, turned key and Jeep started. Drove to dealership. They found nothing on the onboard computer but tightened the battery cables and replaced the key fobs. As this is a commuter vehicle and it seems this problem has happened with other Jeep Commanders while going at speeds up to 50 mph. I'm very concerned that this is an issue that should be resolved, before someone gets hurt.
