Horn Assembly problems of the 2008 Jeep Commander

1/15 started and drove truck for 20 min. Shut off for 30 min when restarted headlights wipers wiper fluid blinkers cruse controll hazards horn dash lights ect would not work. Was forced to drive home in snow storm stopping to wipe windshield with hand.

The contact was able to restart the vehicle; however, the horn, radio, and controls on the steering wheel ceased to work. The contact was made aware of NHTSA campaign number: 14v567000 (electrical system) and the vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer stated that the failure was not included in the recall notification. The failure recurred frequently. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 99,000.
