One problem related to ball joint has been reported for the 2010 Jeep Compass. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Took vehicle to mechanic for inspection. I was informed that one of the front ball joints and tie rod was bad. This vehicle has never been used off road! I have been on a number of Jeep forums and it,s apparent that the ball joints have been a big problem with these vehicles. I guess they are waiting for a serius accident accident and some one gets seriously hurt or worse killed before they make a recall like they did with the Jeep liberty's!.
