One problem related to front suspension control arm has been reported for the 2010 Jeep Compass. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The ball joint on the Jeep has had to be replaced 2 times on the left. One time at 42,000 miles. The second time at 85,000 miles. Also the right sided ball joint and control arm had to be replaced. Failure of these components can lead to the wheel coming off and wrecks. Information on the internet and the mechanics I have spoken with say they have never seen these parts wear out as frequently as they are in this Compass and there should be a recall.
