Tl the contact owns a 2010 Jeep Compass. The contact called on behalf of the driver and stated that while the driver was driving at a low speed making a left turn, the vehicle was hit by another vehicle. As a result the vehicle crashed into a guardrail. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact mentioned that the seat belts failed to keep the occupants restrained. A police report was filed. The contact stated that driver and front seat passenger sustained minor injuries but medical attention was not required. The contact also stated that the child in a child safety seat on the rear driver's side sustained a burn from the seat belt. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. Failure Date: 05/21/2018

Vehcile was involved a a 50 mph front end collision with a guard rail on a state highway. The vehicle suffered extensive front end damage. The airbags did not deploy and the driver's seat belt did not lock up.

3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 06/03/2015

Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Jeep Compass. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 mph, another vehicle crashed into the driver side of the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained a neck injury that required medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
