Seats Problems of Jeep Compass - part 2

I went to start my Jeep Compass and it doesn't start all the lightsbom,the dash come,on alsonthw radio,tuens,on but when,you turn the key it does nothing. I changed the starter what else so,I have to change.

The airbag light goes on intermittently while driving because of the driver seat belt sensor issues per the mechanic. Also, the passenger seat recline lever broke right off, so we can no longer recline. More importantly, the car sometimes won't even start. Dashboard panel just remains black, and the engine does not even turn over. Just silent. After waiting a few moments, it starts perfectly. Mechanics don't know.

The contact owned a 2013 Jeep Compass. While driving approximately 45 mph, the driver saw flames in the rearview mirror. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was pulled over and the driver saw flames underneath the hood. The driver attempted to open the hood, but was unable to do so. The fire department was called, but before they arrived, there was a loud explosion and the vehicle became momentarily engulfed in flames. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that an investigator would be sent out, but no one showed up. The head rest on the passenger's seat deployed while setting in a grocery store parking lot in great bend, KS. The passenger was struck in the back of the head with no injury. This happened on 7/25/17 at about 10:30 a. M. The car was in park with the air-conditioner running. There was no impact to the vehicle. I had diagnostics run on the vehicle by marmie motors in great bend, KS.

Plastic pieces that hold seat belts and handle to adjust seats are both broken off.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the parts was not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and could not confirm when the parts would be available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Takata recall truck runs like malfunction. The passenger side seat cover is loose or broken.

Don't know they can't seem to figure out why when someone gets out of passenger seat the seatbelt lightbstsys on and it still chims until I hook the seatbelt. I am getting tired of taking it to them.

Complaint that rail on driver and passenger sliding seat sticks out to far and has sharp edges that can damage a persons leg. I have pictures.

While driving at 70 mph on I 90, I adjusted my posture, slightly elevating my hips and leaning back against the seatback, whereupon the seatback suddenly collapsed backward, leaving me looking at the ceiling. Fortunately I was virtually alone on the road and was able to quickly recover my upright position without loss of control. I stopped and examined the seatback adjustment and discovered that the seatbelt had intruded between the seat and the adjustment lever in such a way that my upward motion disengaged the lever so that my backward pressure allowed the seat to recline.

The dealer performed a point check inspection however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.
