Alternator mounting bracket broke off when starting engine in driveway, 1 individual mechanic and 2 Jeep dealer mechanics said they've never seen this happen before that the metal actually broke, my concern is that this could have happened while driving and caused a major accident, and if it was a defective part, other Jeep owners should be warned.
