2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle air bag light illuminated and parts not available for repairs.

2 Air Bag Light On problem

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Consumer writes in regards to recall notice concerning occupant restraint control module filter circuit. The consumer stated the dealer installed the orc jump harness. However, the air bag and seat belt indicator lights were still on, which the mechanic acknowledged, but stated there would be a charge for inspecting the vehicle. The consumer stated since the lights were still on, the dealer did not resolve the problem pursuant to the recall.

3 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 11/05/2009

Airbag light keeps coming on. Am told that this indicates that the airbag restraint system is not working. Have taken it in to the Jeep dealer several times and they think it has to do with the remote starter that was installed by the same Jeep dealer, yet that was almost 2 months ago but the problem still persists.
