Takata, on April 15, 2016 I had a head on collision with a 2004 Ford pick up truck on state highway 28 in seneca SC the Jeep was totally destroyed and I suffered multiple serious bodily injuries. The airbags did not deploy. If the airbags had deployed it would not have concluded in broken ribs, broken hand, multiple cuts and bruises and the loss of 90 % of my site. Even the state trooper said he had never witnessed such a travesty.

I realize it was a high speed impact, but the with that much damage it seems like the air bags should have went off.

The passenger side of the vehicle then flipped over and a child passenger was partially ejected from the vehicle. The child¿s upper body then became plunged underwater in the embankment. The child sustained bruises to the head and lung failure from almost drowning. The contact sustained back injuries and a front passenger sustained neck injuries. All of the vehcle occupants required medical attention and a police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and they informed the contact that there were no recalls for the failure and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.
