1 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 12/10/2020

I was involved in a intersection collision where another vehicle didn't stop and drove in front of my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I collided with the drivers door to the rear of the vehicle at a 20 mph speed. The other vehicles air bags deployed. My Jeep sustained front damage a cracked hood, grill, from bumper torn off I broke my right foot. My air bags didn't deploy on the impact and I didn't feel or see a sensor emergency braking.

2 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 05/26/2014

1. Allegedly repaired two weeks earlier, the "ocr," an airbag sensor, failed. This part apparently is located under the front passenger seat. "service airbag system" was displayed. 2. On Monday, may 26, 2014 a seat belt warning appeared on the electronic display and a chime rang for 10 minutes or so. Both the driver and the passenger in the front seat were belted in. 3. On Monday, may 26, 2014 the cruise control became inoperative. The electronic display showed "cruise control unavailable. " in the past the forward collision warning (fcw) has shown phantom alerts, telling me to "brake! brake! brake!" even though there no vehicles or objects in front of the Jeep. At other times, the fcw showed no alert even though another vehicle suddenly appeared in front of the Jeep.
