Jeep Laredo owners have reported 3 problems related to dash wiring (under the electrical system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
From day of purchase, heard loud creaking under the dash. Assumed vents were opening/closing. Eventually cold air began to blow from the right vents. I contacted the dealer and was advised that the blend door actuator probably needed replacing at a cost of $1500. They said bring it on, we have two here now with the same problem.

Dt contact stated while driving the speedometer stopped. He took vehicle to a mechanic shop, they stated the computer's dashboard cluster failed, a short was found in the wiring to the speedometer, but the cluster has to be replaced. The dashboard cluster controlled the speedometer, amp gauge, fuel gauge, and oil pressure indicator lights. There was no forewarning.
