Instrument Panel Problems of Jeep Laredo

The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Laredo. The contact stated that various warning lights on the instrument panel would illuminate intermittently. The vehicle would also stall sporadically and without warning. The dealer was in the process of diagnosing the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 36,000 and the current mileage was 43,500.

The gauges on the dash - speedometer-gas-oil-heat, etc. Will all fail at the same time - they will go all the way to the left - and all of the warning lights will come on - but you can still drive the car - you just have no idea what eh car is doing - and the power windows do not work - the car has been to the dealership for a total of 8 weeks since Aug 26 - they have yet to be able to fix it - there are a lot of write ups on the internet for this exact same problem - as a matter of fact Jeep had a recall for this same problem for their 2002 model - but will not do anything to help with this - kind of scary to be driving down the road and all of the gauges go off.

Brakes have been squeaking constantly. I brought my 2002 Jeep cherokee to the dealer 3 times and they have yet to fix the problem. Also my check engine light has appeared twice and I have had to pay for them to simply turn it off when there was no problem. I have paid well over $600 for these problems and I have only 29,000 miles on the car!!!!!!!!.
