1 Brake Light On problem

The contact owns 2002 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 12v527000 (air bags) however, the air bag warning light remained illuminated. The contact also stated that during rain weather, the vehicle hydroplaned when depressing the brake pedal slightly. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 54,000.

2 Brake Light On problem

Failure Date: 01/18/2013

Rear axle seals leaking replaced seals, bearings, and brakes on both sides. Engine started using excessive oil, sometime up to 2-3 quarts low, no smoke or leaks detected. All the power windows started malfunctioning one by one, would not go back up, still working issue. Rear wiper does not work. Had to replace rear brake light units twice due to shorts in wiring. Replace plastic radiator and electric cooling fan.

3 Brake Light On problem

Speedometer, cruise control, brake warning lamp and abs light on, mileage counter not working, check engine light on as well, car dies or stall when slowing down even on hwy or when turning. We have replaced almost everything we can think of. Look online and hundred if not thousands of owners have exact same problems and no solution to problem. How are you supposed to have vehicle inspected if the emergency brake lights wont go off? we have replaced front and back brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, speed sensors front driver and passenger and rear one. Fuel pump fuel filter have now been replaced. We have replaced more but I know we have spent well over 2 grand and nothing please help we are not the only ones having this issue.

4 Brake Light On problem

The contact owns a 2002 Jeep Liberty sport. The contact was driving approximately 55 mph. The anti-lock brake system and brake warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel and suddenly the speedometer became nonfunctional. The contact stated that the electrical wires to the blower motor overheated as a result to the wiring harness. The dealer was notified of the failure and stated that the labor fee would be $87 an hour. The failure mileage was 107,000.
