Right rear window regulator failed and window fell into the door. After part was replaced by dealer, same window regulator failed 16 months later. This window is next to my 4 year old's car seat and is never opened. For me, this is a safety issue. Thousands of identical complaints can be found on various sites. Jeep is aware of the issue and refuses to fix it.

The rear passenger side window was replaced three times and the rear driver side was replaced twice. The dealer stated that the failure was a known issue, but the part had not been modified to prevent the failure. The failure mileage was 27,000 and the current mileage 79,000.
