My 2003 Jeep Liberty was recalled in 2015 because of an exploding gas tank problem. I took it to a dealership but they refused to fix the problem, saying that rust on the threads of the frame mounting holes prevented them from mounting a hitch to fix the problem. I asked them if they could thread a bigger hole, use a bolt and nut,or just weld the needed repair part on - they refused. I just this day took my Jeep to a different dealership to have a different recall repaired so I asked them to check Chrysler - Jeep records on my Jeep and they have it listed as satisfied for the exploding problem. This is not true, they refused to fix it even after several e-mails to them. Now I see that there are still problems with the Jeeps exploding even after repairs have been made. How do I go about making this company do a proper repair on my Jeep?.
