2 Other Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 10/08/2024

I purchased the car on 10/07\2024, the dealer said there was a recall and I assumed it was for this issue: when I fill the tank it shoots fuel all over the place. Ive tried different gas stations but it doesn't help, it still shoots or spills fuel all over the place. I checked online and this seems to be a known problem caused by the ethanol in the fuel reacting with a check valve. Having fuel shoot out at you every time you fill the car is dangerous!!!.

I asked what I should do during the waiting time and she said to try not to get hit. I called again the beginning of September and jennifer stated that I should receive a part or call in a few days. It is now September 14 and I have not heard anything about fixing or setting up an appointment for fixing the Jeep.
