Two problems related to tank mounting have been reported for the 2009 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When filling up the gas tank the fuel will spit back out of the tank. This creates a significant amount of fuel being shot back at the person filling up the vehicle and it also creates an environmental hazard. This has occured on the last two occasions when re-fueling the vehicle.
