The vehicle was able to be restarted after five minutes. The failure happened without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the tipm module malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
