The approximate failure mileage was 56,000.

38 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 02/24/2025

There is an active recall that was issued back in October 2024 for Jeep Wranglers 2018-2024 with the ipc (instrument panel cluster) going completely black. My Jeep currently has this issue, I cannot see my fuel level, speed, odometer, oil and engine temps or any other vital information when driving. When I search my VIN number my vehicle shows I do not have any recalls even though the Jeep has the exact problem shown in the recall.

39 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 02/13/2025

Vehicle is inoperable. Dealer says it is a bad abs module. 80+ codes were thrown, dashboard lights flickering on and off. Right brakes locked up on mechanic test drive. All abs functionality failed. The part is not being manufactured at this time. I have been told that there is no date when to expect the part's availability. This seems to be a common issue that should be recalled.

40 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 02/11/2025

My central instrument gage cluster has gone black, not being able to see important safety information and car notices. I can't see car info such as milage , fuel, safety warnings, tire information etc etc.

41 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 01/20/2025

My ipc keeps flashing and going blank or black screen. I’m unable to see the information about my vehicle including fuel levels. I have not taken my car to a dealer yet since I am waiting for the new part but I saw that there was a for notifying that Jeep Wranglers from 2018-2020 had this specific issue yet my VIN has no recalls.

42 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2025

Body: paint around door hinges is bubbling. Vehicle was purchased new in 2019, vehicle is not near salt water or driven in, harsh offroad conditions. Vehicle has been garaged daily since purchase and has 44,000 miles on it. Electrical: instrument cluster reboots and blanks out and speedometer stops working while driving. This vehicle was not included in previous recall #fca 30b, but the symptoms are identical to that recall. Vehicle has been taken to the dealer who has offered no insight as to what the problem may be. Dealer was shown a video of the problem happening while driving. The attached photo is taken from a video of the cluster while driving. Both the main battery and the auxiliary battery were replaced to see if that was an issue, it was not.

43 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 12/13/2024

Vehicle has electrical issues that cause system malfunctions including loss of abs, power steering, speed control, and speedometer. Multiple attempts by Jeep dealership are unable to diagnose issues.

44 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 11/20/2024

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, the instrument panel went dark and became inoperable. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 24v652000 (electrical system); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 68,000.

45 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 10/05/2024

The information center and warning went dead on the instrument cluster.

46 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 10/03/2024

Uconnect system pushed an update to an out of warranty vehicle. The ota (over-the-air) update bricked (boot loop) the system that also includes the backup camera. The system continually reboots even with the car in the off position. If left, it will drain the battery and I cannot start the vehicle. I am forced to pull the fuse and am unable to use the backup saftey camera. No guidance from Jeep/unconnect, as they do not post update files or a way to fix. Jeep dealerships want $1600 to replace the radio.

47 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2024

Bad abs module part is not being produced in re-enegineering since 2023 Jeep has all warning lights on will go into limp mode speedometer stops working braking distance is increased will not shift into gear no time line on remedy or help from Jeep.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the auto start warning light had displayed on the instrument panel. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the auxiliary battery might need to be replaced. The contact's son replaced the battery; however, the warning light remained on the instrument panel. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 24v652000 (electrical system); which was linked to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 72,400.

49 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 08/24/2024

The car is having electrical issues that the dealer service is unable to diagnose. They have since ordered a part but they are not certain that this will fix the problem. The car has been in service 3 times. Twice for an uncontrollable shaking that comes from no where, this has fixed the problem temporarily, however it continues. If I hit highway speeds the car shakes making it difficult to drive. The electrical issue for lack of a better word causes the car to stop as there is no acceleration at this point, making it difficult and extremely dangerous to drive. I drive an hour and half to work with fear. I don't want to cause an accident nor do I want anyone else getting hurt. The car has had issues since we first bought it. But thought ok, they are trying to fix the issues so have said nothing until now. Now the electrical system fails causing the care to be undrivable. We had to already have it towed to the dealer. Paid for the diagnostic issue which resulted in nothing and paid for a rental car.

50 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 08/19/2024

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact while driving 50mph instrument panel that failed and became inoperable . The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. . The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 24v652000 (electrical system)the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

51 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 07/26/2024

Abs module went out in July of 2024, after being replaced in February 2024. Jeep does not have any of the parts available, the same part was recalled for the grand cherokee and ram 1500. My Jeep has been unable to drive since the part malfunctioned.

52 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 05/02/2024

This Jeep has the exact issues addressed in recall 24v-652 but this Jeeps v. I. N was not included. We have no dash display. Dealership said we needed to request that it be added before they will repair.

53 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 04/25/2024

My Jeep Wrangler's instrument cluster randomly shut down while driving. This means I couldn't see the electronic speedometer, odometer, or any other information on the dashboard. There weren't any warning lights before it failed. I had the dealer fix it, but Jeep wouldn't cover the entire cost of the repair, even though the dealer confirmed there was no water damage or external cause. It seems like the instrument cluster just malfunctioned and fried. This appears to be a recurring issue with Jeep Wranglers, and it's concerning that Jeep isn't taking responsibility for a problem that could be a safety hazard, especially when using features like adaptive cruise control that relies on the digital screen. Attached is the repair order and invoice detailing the problem. I also have a video of it mid-failure if you need it. This shouldn't happen with a vehicle at 46k miles, major safety concern.

54 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 03/03/2024

Loss of power on the highway, check engine light, battery light, pcm light, service start/stop system light, stalling and shutting off when put into reverse. Code for mgu. It’s an etourqe Jeep Wrangler, no alternator and no aux battery. It’s been at a dealership since March 6th. They’ve replaced the mgu twice, which is a $15,000 part. They’ve replaced belts, belt tensioners, a crank shaft sensor and opened a star case and cannot remedy the issue. It still stalls and dies when put into reverse. Losing power and being unable to accelerate on the highway is exceedingly dangerous. The vehicle stalling and dying in any scenario is exceedingly dangerous. Not only to myself and the people in my vehicle but to others around me. The issue has been reproduced multiple times at the dealership and they cannot correct the problem.

55 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 01/27/2024

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware that rodents had damaged unknown parts inside the engine compartment. The contact also stated that the instrument panel was inoperable. The contact stated that on one occasion while driving 25 mph, the transmission failed to operate as needed and the vehicle shifted into limp mode. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact stated that several wiring harnesses were replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

56 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 01/14/2024

So driving about 50-55mph, the dash lights lite up like a christmas tree. Everything from abs, shifter lock, sway bar, airbags, traction control, aux battery and some other things that I can't remember. Engine lost power, power steering and unable to shift out of park. I took to my local dealer, I didn't buy it from them, and they diagnsoed the issue of a faulty abs module. This module has been in the stage of "engineering" for over a year. I spent $900 on one abs module that was available out of 5 in the us from another dealer and to get 20 minutes down the road only to have it happen again. The vehicle was at the dealer for 5 weeks. The new part was to become available on may20th. Two days ago the service manager called to tell me that they pushed the date to Aug 20th. This will be almost 2 years in this process with this part. The manager then proceeded to tell me it will probably be longer as Jeep went to a new vendor and it is redoing the part. I know of hundreds of other owners in the same boat. Jeep star techs say they can't diagnose past this part so I am paying on a big paper weight since November 23. I have started a case with Jeep customer care only for them to say they can't do anything financially or anything other than help expedite the issue. This is a lost cause as it is still being developed 2 years later. My gm of the dealership said he has 4-5 others at his lot in the same boat and a number of other owners with vehicles like myself at the house. I feel the need for someone to put pressure on the vendor to help with getting a recall on this situation.

57 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 01/10/2024

My 2019 Jeep Wrangler has a defective instrument cluster panel. The entire cluster is completely non-functional — I cannot see the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights, or odometer at all. This makes it impossible to monitor the vehicle’s speed, fuel level, or safety warnings while driving, creating a very serious safety hazard. I understand Jeep has already issued recall 24v-652 (Chrysler 30b) for defective cluster panels for 2019 and other Wrangler model years, but my VIN is not included even though I am experiencing the same issue. I am requesting that this defect be investigated and my vehicle added to the recall.

58 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 01/09/2024

The dashboard panel does not light up. It just went out one day and never came back on. I cannot see my mileage, my fuel level or warning lights. I took it to dealership and they did a software update with no changes in dash panel. The dealership stated I needed a dash cluster replaced.

59 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 11/06/2023

Abs light came on, car will stop on its own while driving 70 miles an hour and kill the acceleration. Steering will go out. Speedometer will not work. Check engine light will come on. Gear shift gets stuck in place. This car is a major safety hazard that Jeep has ignored. I have gotten stuck on the side of the road on bridges, highways side streets due to the fact the gear shift will not move out of park and all the lights come on in the car.

60 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 10/30/2023

Abs light will come on, speedometer will stop working, gear shift will lock up and not move. Jeep will stop moving while on highway at random times without any warning. Steering will lock up on turns not allowing the vehicle to turn.

61 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2023

I have had a multitude of problems with this vehicle since driving it off the lot. The most recent “the Jeep death wobble”.

62 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 09/05/2023

Took Jeep to dealership it had 36,000 miles they worked on it for 40,000miles service and to ck wobble on Jeep mechanic took Jeep for test drive it exploded luckily he new how to escape I don’t know what the cause of it was insurance are taking care of it.

63 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 08/20/2023

First time it happened I was stopped and the vehicle complete shut off. I had to shift to park and restart. Second time, coming to a stop the vehicle abruptly shut completely off and directed me to shift it to park and restart. Same thing had happened a third time and now I have parked the vehicle until my service appointment.

64 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 07/20/2023

While driving all dash lights come on and steering locks up. Been in shop for weeks and they cannot find out the reason. There are several videos on youtube of same issues. This is very dangerous, especially if driving at highway speeds. How do I file to get this on recall list? my wife was driving at low speed when it happened and was able to get to side of road.

65 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 07/14/2023

And module burt out causing my shifter to get stuck in park Jeep to shut down and dash to light up like a christ mad tree. .

66 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 07/14/2023

Instrument cluster panel - while driving, my cluster panel occasionally glitches before returning to normal. Ultimately, when I was on the highway, it all went black. Nothing is visible anymore. I can’t tell if I need gas, if my tires are low, if an oil change is due, or if there are any warnings I should be aware of. Essentially, all the information I require is missing. This occurred during the 3rd year I owned the car, but it only happened a handful of times. The belt-driven starter generator failed after just 3 years of having the brand new car. Fortunately, it was included in the powertrain warranty, so it was repaired. However, I recall experiencing the same problem, and everything in my car was malfunctioning, including the radio. At that moment, I believed that was the source of the issue because it hadn't happened for quite some time. After I resolved that issue, about a year later, my cluster began to malfunction again with the glitching. It would glitch for a short period and then return to normal. However, this time it’s even worse, and now it’s completely black.

67 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 07/10/2023

Without warning the ip panel lights up with all warnings and power steering is lost while driving. Dealership can not diagnose the issue. I have replaced both the main and the aux batteries and still have this same issue. I have been lucky so far the 3 times that it has happened because I was driving straight. If I was going around a curve or trying to avoid another driver, the probabilities are high that I would have been in an accident.

68 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 06/13/2023

The dash instrument cluster failed and went dark leaving no information for the driver. Speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer and all warning lights are out. The vehicle went to walnut creek Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram on 6/15/23. They confirmed that the cluster was out. They also mentioned that this is a common problem and would take 2 weeks. The vehicle could not be used, because of the fear of no speedometer and fuel gauge. If it ran out of fuel, there would be next to no steering or brakes. There was no warning prior to the failure on 6/13/23. It has now been at the dealer for 7 weeks with no eta for the part. We've been told by the dealer that the part fits 2018 through current models and there's a large backlog because of a rash of failures. We have reached out to Chrysler customer service on several occasions and have got no help or guidance whatsoever.

69 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 06/12/2023

2019 Wrangler jl sport 2 door manual. 68,000miles. Started with flashing abs light 2months ago with then start stop not working given I replaced the aux battery 3 months before this happened delearship said both batteries needed replaced so I did that. Moving forward 2 weeks agos I got all these codes ,picture attached ,ran the scanner because I got my dash lit up with every warning you can possibly imagine. Every time it happened ( more then 5times , less then 10)it wouldnt let me turn it over to off but wound turn over to acc. While making a weird noise(video attached) . Finally it will turn over to off. . One day on the turnpike the Jeep did this but this time I lost my power steering. The dealership has had it now for over a week. The pulled over 60codes for communication. They clear the codes and have driven it over 100miles not being able to replicate the-same problem I had and no codes are popping up. They still have the Jeep.

70 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 06/11/2023

While driving, traction control light came on. Eventually went away after shutting off vehicle, but engine light came on. Things escalated a week later when all warning lights starting coming on while I was driving and I lost power steering. I took to the dealership and they said several wires had rubbed against a condenser. The fixed the wires. Approx. 2 weeks go by with no problems. Then my Jeep was idling in a parking lot and all the lights start coming on and what I assume was the engine fan started running. It sounded like the Jeep was going to blow up the way the fan was running. I shut the Jeep off and when turned back on, the engine light was on and was able to drive it home. Took it to the dealership and as sitting in the parking lot, it again had all the warning lights going off and the fan went crazy again. It has now been at the dealership for two weeks. No answers. I’ve done research on line and there are lots of people experiencing the same problem. Needs a recall! this is absolutely dangerous to be occurring when driving.
