Engine Shut Off Without Warning problems of the 2014 Kia Motor Forte

While in motion, on three separate occasions on one drive, the engine of the vehicle completely shut off. The electrical system remained active. All three times the engine shut off while accelerating. Once after slowly going over railroad tracks. Once after backing out of a driveway and giving gas after going from "reverse" to "drive". And finally, when slowing for a turning vehicle and accelerating to go up a slight incline. I had a mechanic look it over and despite checking and testing every common cause, he could not recreate the scenario. Also, he reported that there were no diagnostic codes thrown as a result of the event.

While driving my car on the highway at 60 miles per hour, my car shut off and all the light on the dash board went out and the car would not start. I try to restart my car and it would not start again. As I got it off the road, I try to restart the car with no luck and white smoke coming from the engine compartment. There was no warning light that came on while driving the car. The smoke smelled like electrical in nature.

The car very hard to start. After many times of trying to start the car it does start it will not read the cars rpm. Many times the car has just shut off while driving or sitting at a light or stop sign. The engine does not seem to be running smoothly.

Mileage 109000. Driving along a heard knocking in engine. Pulled to side and waited for it to cool down and checked fluids. Everything was good. Started back driving and knocking increased and then engine shut off causing us to coast from 60mph on a 4 lane road. Luckily was able to drift to a safe spot to pull over.

When driving the car shuts off with no warning anywhere. I have to put oil in the car almost each time I get gas. There is knocking in the engine when I turn the car on. Car fails to start from time to time.
