During my last visit to the kia dealer for an oil change and tire rotation, they informed my that I had no oil indicating on the dip stick. No leaks detected so must be burning oil. Every time I drive, I can smell burning oil and tail pipe are completely black.

Failure Date: 06/24/2017

Tl the contact owns a 2012 kia Optima. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact noticed black smoke coming from the tail pipe. The vehicle was taken to value kia (6915 essington Ave, philadelphia, PA 19153, 215-937-1000) where it was diagnosed that the cooling and electrical systems failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,630.
