Engine Shut Off Without Warning problems of the 2014 Kia Motor Optima

I was driving on the road on a nice sunny day, and while my vehicle was in motion all of a sudden my engine shuts off and I lose power. My car won't start and I had a mechanic inspect my car and he says everything checks except for the engine. He says the engine is seized. Kia has tech service buliten TSB for recall campaign for this exact issue. I'm curious as to why my vehicle hasn't been recalled yet. This is dangerous.

The car started to overheat, as I was pulling to the side the warning sign to check hybrid system came ob. Shortly after the car shut down while I was going up a hill. I had to tow to the repair shop and that's where they told me that the engine needed to be replaced.

Tl the contact owns a 2014 kia Optima. While driving 10 mph, the engine completely shut off without warning. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle, but was unsuccessful. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 17v224000 (engine and cooling). The contact was unaware of the recall prior to filing a complaint with NHTSA. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the contact's home. The failure mileage was unknown.

Takata recall. I have 2014 kia Optima ex. The vehicles engine shutoff while I was driving with my 4 year old son in the car, thankfully at a slow speed in a shopping plaza parking lot. The dash lights work, but the engine will not start. I had the vehicle towed to a shop who found the starter had been fried and replaced it thinking it would solve the problem, but the new starter was fried as well and upon further investigation they realized the engine has completely seized. Kia while having recalls for the same issue on other kia Optima vehicles will not replace my engine, leaving me with a financial mess. I have not received an invoice from the shop as of yet due to the vehicle not being drivable and my attempts to find a way to fund the repairs, but will retain the invoice once received.

My car shut off coming off of the highway, I don't know what's going on they're saying my car isn't under recall this I've had my car for about 2. 5 years and maintenance has been kept up always this is costing me more than my car is worth.

2014 kia Optima hybrid completely shut down while decelerating for a traffic light. The car displayed a fault on the screen as a "possible battery management system failure. " when the car shut down. Had loss of steering control (electrical/optical steering). Had to slow to stop, place transmission selector in park before the car would allow restart. Engine warning light stayed on for 3 hours then extinguished by itself. Bms was updated at cost to customer.

While driving down the road all the lights on the dash came on, the rpm''s dropped and the car shut off and would not restart. Got it towed to the kia dealership they called said it was my starter. My fiance stopped by there said it's no way it was the starter. The service tech put a breaker bar on the motor and it was locked up tight.

On 09/19/2016 I purchased a 2014 kia Optima lx from kia of cerritos. Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because on 09/19/2016 I got home, parked it in front of the garage (still on), and it shut off by itself. I turned the car back on and it blew out white smoke, I turned it off immediately, and called kia this next day to have it inspected at the dealership on 9/20/16. They said they needed to replaced the engine. Prior to this, the car was working normally, no dash lights, or anything that would signal the car breaking down, kia of cerritos is unwilling to fix it under warranty and they're saying the cost for repairs is $6,585 and Kia Motors of America declined the repairs, I've been with this car only 2 1/2 years.
