The contact owns a 2017 kia Sedona. The contact stated that she had become aware that the 2nd row middle seat belt clip did not fit in the designated buckle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that it was a factory defect. The dealer determined that the 2nd row middle seat belt buckle assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
