The contact owned a 1997 kia Sephia. Contact's vehicle rear ended another vehicle at 35 mph . Upon impact, the frontal air bags did not deploy. There were three occupants in the car all wearing seat belts. The rear passenger side seat belt broke . The air bag warning light had not been on in this vehicle nor was it on after the crash. One person sustained injuries because of the seat belt. She broke two ribs.

Consumer complained that rear seat belts were not functioning properly, and another set was installed in the back. Currently, they seem to be too small for an average adult. When puttng them on they automatically lock into the seat. Dealer replaced rear seat belt assembly. Right front window is blurry. Dealer replaced deformed front door glass. Rear defroster inoperative. Dealer found rear defrost grid broken. Left side mirror vibrates. Side mirror assembly replaced.
Door assembly: passenger's and driver's side back door flies open unexpectedly. Took in to kia for repairs and they will not fix it because they couldn't duplicate. Also having problem with seat belts in back coming loose.
