Kia currently has a recall (sc147) on 2011 kia Sportages where the oil pan gasket leaks and can cause an engine fire. My vehicle was diagnosed with the same issue as the recall however my VIN doesn't appear on the recall list. I will attach the repair quote issued by my local dealer. I contacted kia in good faith to have them reimburse me for said repairs but they are refusing. Their recall is not complete and my vehicle only has 76,000 miles on it. I am currently driving the car but if kia has admitted there is a fire issue with the car, shouldn't they fix it?.
