Visibility Problems of Kia Motor Sportage

The contact owns a 2016 kia Sportage. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, there was oil leaking onto the ground. The oil warning light was illuminated. Additionally, all the windows failed to roll down. The dealer was made aware of the failure and scheduled an upcoming appointment for the diagnostic test. The dealer advised the contact to add oil to the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,025.

Driver and passenger side sun visors will not stay up. Safety equipment issue as drivers vision is impaired. Dealer refused to repair under warranty.

While driving south on rt33, near snydersville PA,at about 60mph the driver's window "exploded" I. E. Shattered into thousands of pieces. There was no warning of impending breaking-up. This is the only occurrence at this time. No one was injured and I know of no witnesses. I shall attempt to have the damage repaired under warranty.

The engine had multiple problems which caused the check engine light to illuminate. The dealer replaced several components but the problem recurred. The fuel tank, sender unit and pressure sensor had to be replaced.
