Warnings Problems of Kia Motor Telluride - part 2

After 3 months, vehicle started showing intermittent warnings at startup related to multiple collision warning systems-- forward collision, blindspot sensors, rear cross traffic. Over a few weeks, it was no longer intermittent and occurred every time. Multiple acd systems wouldn't function due to blind spot sensor failures. Multiple repair attempts and issue occurred again and dealer has been unable to repair.

While in drive, the battery discharge warning was displayed inconsistently, similar to what had occurred sporadically on January 21 and January 23. Without notice, multiple indicator lights started flashing, including low tire pressure, safety features such as check forward collision assist system, and more. Power steering failed, and ultimately had to coast into a safe location. This resulted in a tow to the dealership, where after multiple days, the dealership found that the alternator failed and replaced it under warranty. This could have negatively impacted not only my safety but the safety of others as the vehicle safety features were not operational and I lost full functionality of the vehicle such as power steering loss. All regular maintenance and satisfaction of recalls had been completed by a kia-authorized dealership before this event.

The pearl white paint on my car started chipping off about a year ago. This morning the roof started peeling heavily. This is ridiculous as the car is just now 4 years old. I’ve never had a car peel ever. The forward collision sensor randomly comes on and says it’s not working. Please fix these issues.

Driver assistance causing car to slow down or come to a complete stop on freeway when another car cut in front of me. Also, slowed down when car approaching me getting in turning lane. It is not operating correctly can lead to someone hitting you!.

Driving 2022 Telluride on highway with cruise control active. Forward collision warning activated, initiated the automatic emergency braking, without any objects or traffic around. The activation was unexpected, without any indication of reason, so much so I instinctively pulled the vehicle off the road way and caused damage to the undercarriage and front bumper. This has happened before, and has been reported to the manufacturer and dealership and was scheduled to have it checked out. Unfortunately, the sudden plunge off the road way ended with the vehicle in a severe angled ditch and I ran over a metal post or some other objects in the ditch way and now the vehicle is inoperable.

Had a new transmission installed in February 2022. Now, beginning March 13, warning lights come on to check blind spot and forward collision systems. About 10 seconds after the car lurches violently. This has happened at full speed on interstate which is a huge risk for injury/death. I have video of this phenomenon.

On multiple occasions, when the Telluride cruise control is active, the forward collision warning will activate the automatic emergency braking system, without any objects in the road. When taking the vehicle to its first oil change at the dealership, I was using the cruise control and it was the first time it happened (2. 15. 2022). The second time was approximately a week later. The third this past week (3. 18. 2022) each time it occurred, it would alarm, break, and return to cruise speed over and over until the cruise was disabled. Appointment for warranty check set for (3. 23. 2022) kia was informed, customer rep said to take it to dealership with no other explanation or help.

On my wished a small object hit my windshield on the passenger side and within an hour it spread more by the best day it was almost on the driver side of the windshield. Second, the forward collision and lane departure lights came on. I took the SUV to kia they said it was an issue with the camera and they where going to order the part and replace it for me. It seem I was not the only one with this issue.
