2nd complaint! see NHTSA id number: 10471434. Ref service bulletin no. : tb-0081, engine vent hose coolant leak. Coolant leak caused the failure of the alternator again, this time leaving my child stranded on the side of the road! gulf coast Land Rover repaired the leak and alternator in 2012 at a cost of $1122. But, did not fix the problem so here I go again! I will have to pay to tow the vehicle in for repair and Land Rover will charge me a bloody fortune to replace the defective vent hose (and alternator) that damaged the alternator with another hose that will eventually fail!.
