2008 Land Rover Lr2 - occasionally the park assist will not sound when gear selector is in "reverse" position-since the vehicle has big blind spots, park assist is a major safety factor when backing up the vehicle. Current solution is to re-load the software, but the problem comes back in a few weeks, requiring another trip to the dealer to re-load the same defective software. This problem is well documented on Land Rover forums (including uk), owners have complained about it to the various dealerships, including uk-no permanent fix from Land Rover, even that Lr2 is in production for about 1 year .
