Hello, I have 2010 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. 4 weeks ago I smell gas and I saw error code about gas cap. I purchased 2 gas cap and replaced it but I keep smelling gas. I took the car to shop and mechanic confirmed gas leak. I call landrover customer service and I talk to debbie and tiffany. I told them about upcoming gas leak recall and they told me they couldn't help me before official recall announcement. I took the car to landrover dealer in alexandria virginia and I talk to ash and he told me the same thing to wait until offical recall. At the beginning of the year my car started going into limp mode and shutting down. I had it inspected and the purge valve was faulty and I paid to have it replaced in August 2021. In the past month it’s started dying while driving, mostly as I’m pulling up to a stoplight. The engine will sputter and it will completely die while the car is in drive which means I loose controll of the steering wheel even while it’s still moving. I just had it inspected and it’s the same issue, the purge valve I’ve just replaced is stuck closed. So this will be the 3rd purge valve this car has had in a 4 month period. I’m afraid this is going to cause me to have an accident and it’s the same thing over and over so it sounds like it’s a faulty part.

Fuel gauge indicated no fuel even though tank was just filled. Vehicle went into limp mode then would only start for a minute. Exact same symptoms as current recall for same model year but ours is outside of VIN range for that recall. Vehicle only has 35k miles and had fuel pump replaced which has seemed to fix the problem although fuel gauge won’t read full ever.

Gas leaking from the flange while driving. Flange was replaced. I would like to report this repair as a concern. I have never owned a vehicle that had a gas leak. I lost my sense of smell 20 years ago and would not have know of the gas smell if my daughter had not made me aware of it. I spoke with the dealer about a potential recall investigation on the flange and they were unaware of any recall investigation. This is a very dangerous issue and should be a recall by Land Rover.

Purchased the vehicle 07/10/2020 check engine light came on 8/17/2020 called the warranty company took it to redwood city range rover dealership 8/18 (see below invoice) paid for car rental through that time. Picked up range rover on 8/31. Check engine light came back on 9/14 (see below invoice) with gas smell took it straight to dealership got another rent a car paid for services 9/18 called carvana and spoke with alex 9/18 to let them know I only had the range rover for 2 months minus the 2 weeks the dealership had it to fix and I have been having "major" problems with the vehicle. I was told by "alex' (he would not give me the initial of his last name) apologized and said there was nothing carvana could do. He stated the dealership probably did something to the gas tubes or loosened something. I told him I wanted to speak with a manager or I am contacting the bbb and the automotive association because the problems I am having with the range rover are not "minor" these were "major" problems and faulty engine, gas, and the other repairs could have been disasterous to my children and my life had it sparked or ran hot. Alex said he would have someone contact me. He later called and sent a text a hour later asking for copies of the invoice and said the management team and maintenence is requesting it to look over. I have yet to hear anything else from carvana. During this time the vehicle have been driven on freeway, city streets, in motion, taken to the gas station. (invoices are attached).

Air bag light turn on on 06/15/2020 the car started leaking alot of fuel when I wan on the highway and a light turn on restricted services.

Sometimes when accelerating from a stop there is a delay, very dangerous. This has happened multiple times.

Tl the contact owns a 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The contact stated that there was a strong odor of fuel inside the rear of the vehicle. Land rover north scottsdale (18100 n scottsdale rd, phoenix, az 85054, (480) 470-7406) diagnosed that the fuel flange needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in a recall. The contact planned to have the dealer repair the vehicle. The approximate failure mileage was 74,228.

The 2018 model has a significant throttle delay when accelerating the car from a stop, resulting in delay in movement after pressing the accelerator pedal. This can be very dangerous when turning onto busy roads and when accelerating at stop signs, as it takes 1-2 seconds before the car registers that the accelerator pedal has been depressed, and then jolts forward at a high speed to "catch up". Two Land Rover dealers (west chester PA and wayne PA) have confirmed that numerous customers have complained about this issue but they have not been able to fix it and have been researching solutions for months. The service manager in west chester PA confirmed that one of their service technicians, when testing this issue, was almost hit by a moving car in front of the dealership because the car he was driving did not react soon enough after he depressed the acceleration pedal. The wayne PA service dept confirmed that there is 0. 8 second throttle delay when testing another car (not mine). I formerly submitted a case to Land Rover Jaguar of north America but they have not yet resolved this issue. These cars should not be on the road with this issue!.

The vehicle give incorrect mileage before emptying.

My car has had four claims with range rover where the car suddenly stop while driving . Again my car came out of gear when I used the keyless remote the car begin to suddenly rollled. Upon me trying to stop the car for harming others I was injured. I have made range rover aware of the unsafe conditions of the car but they are refusing to acknowkege it. I have police records and documentation . I just want the car repaired so that it's safe to drive for me and my family to ride in.

7:30 am on lie (495) westbound from exit 49 to 41. All three lanes are bumper to bumper except the hov lane which looks like a ghost lane. My wife and I see this picture everyday as we ride together to work. Painfully, eventhough we're entitled to use this lane we cannot enter for a 5-mile stretch due to double solid line barrier. What is the rationale of such a barrier? it causes more traffic as it prevents the high occupancy vehicles to enter hov lane and adds more cars to bumper to bumper traffic. It discourages people from car pooling since reduces the effectiveness of the hov lanes. I think the hov lane should be free to enter from anywhere for hov's (as in most states, such as florida). If the barrier is a "must have" for lie, at least the entrances should be every a mile or two ( not five miles or eight exits apart). I would greatly appreciate a response.
