The contact owns a 2025 Lexus Is-350. The contact stated that the vehicle was purchased brand new. The contact stated that within four days of driving the vehicle, the contact started to experience health and safety Issues that persisted throughout the time the vehicle was driven, and the contact noticed an abnormal odor coming from the vehicle. The contact experienced extremely swollen abdomen causing severe digestive distress, constipation, diarrhea and loss of appetite. The contact experienced swollen lymph nodes on the left side of the groin, abnormal weight gain, debilitating fatigue, insomnia, loss of breath, reduced eyesight, loss of strength, joints pain, reduced cognitive ability, malaise. Additionally, the contact experienced hair loss that stopped once the contact stopped driving the vehicle in the month of June. The contact sought medical assistance, and the lab work showed low level of iron. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the dealer was informed of the Issue. The dealer performed a detailing of the vehicle to resolve the Issue; however, the contact continued to experience the symptoms while driving the vehicle. The contact hired nal east environmental services(2021 bridgetown pike, feasterville-trevose, PA 19053) to perform a test on the vehicle. The test was performed, and the contact was informed that extremely positive levels of volatile organic compound(voc) was found on the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the Issue, and the doctor's letter, stating that the voc presence in the vehicle had made the contact sick, was sent to the manufacturer; however, no assistance was provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 15.
The contact owns a 2017 Lexus Is 200 . The contact stated that while parked in the rain, water leaked into their dashboard causing the headlights to fail. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic and where it was diagnosed as being a manufacturer defect. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.

Tl the contact owns a 2007 Lexus Is250. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle in sunlight, the dashboard melted. The contact stated that the failure resulted in the dashboard having a shiny, causing the sunlight to be reflected which blocked the contact's eyesight. Lexus of roseville (300 automall dr, roseville, CA 95661, 916-783-9111) was contacted and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the warranty expired on the vehicle. The dashboard was previously covered however, the contact was not informed of the covered repair on prior maintenance visits. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that two letters regarding the melting dashboard was mailed to the contact. The contact stated that the letters were not received. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 125,000.

The front dashboard of my 2007 Lexus Is350 has melted into a highly reflective, sticky substance that significantly hinders visibility out the front of the automobile under certain lighting conditions. I have not had an incident yet but am very concerned about the safety of driving the car.
After purchasing car, I noticed door panels seemed to be melting & real smooshy when you touch it. I told dealership & they just wanted to patch it so I got a second opinion from upholstery shop & they said its really nothing they can do but patch it because its molded!! I would like to know what can be done to get a recall initiated so this can be fixed before it gets worse.
Whenever the car Is exposed under the sun. The dashboard seems to be melting which makes it shiny and Is making difficult to drive.
This Lexus has the sticky, melting dashboard Issue common in many Lexus vehicles located in southern states.

On the dashboard, the square of material where the srs air bag Is, on the passenger side, keeps melting when it's exposed to heat. The airbag decomposes over time due to an error in design/manufacturing, and that Lexus Is aware of the situation due to other customers that have had the same problem. I have safety concerns about the condition of the air bag as this continues to deteriorate overtime. This situation may affect the quality and strength of the air bag. . After research I discovered this problem has occurred in Lexus vehicles as far back as 2002.
The dash of my 2007 Lexus Is 250 has been deteriorating for over a year. It appears to melting and Is very shiny causing extreme glare to the front windshield. The glare can be so severe at times that it impedes visibility. I have been in contact with the nearest Lexus dealership multiple times regarding this Issue. I have sent pictures at their request and can't seem to get a definitive answer as to when repairs will be initiated. The service department Is in agreement that this a "severe" case of dash material breakdown I have researched "melting dash" on the Lexus forums and the problems with my dash Is not an Isolated problem.
The dash board has been made of of defective material, it has a very bad glare like a mirror. I get so scared because the glare gets really bad the sunnier it Is out side. It reflects right into my eyes while driving.
I purchased a 07' Is250 in may of 07. I purchased it because of the safety features I purchased a 07' Is250 in may of 07. I purchased it because of the safety features available and we had told our sales associate that we were looking for a safe 4 door because we were thinking of having a baby and did not feel comfortable in the car I previously owned 06' Mazda 3. Never were we told that an infant car seat would not comfortably fit in the back (without you driving with your face in the windshield) I called customer service today and was told that these cars are equipped for a car seat, but it would be a very uncomfortable fit and I would need to look for a small one. Then she said to contact my dealer to talk about trade in options. Well since I've only owned the car for 11 months, I'm basically going to be completely upside down and there Is no way I would be able to afford to trade up. I wish I would've known about the car seats not fitting before I purchased the vehicle. There needs to be some sort of disclaimer on these vehicles so that people who are looking to have a family will not buy them. Or at the very least have a list of compatible car seats. I would've been much better in a camry. My twins will now be swashed into the backseat of this Is or I will have to reevaluate my situation. I have excellent credit, but can't afford to have 2 automobile payments. My husband highly recommended Lexus for their customer service because he Is a previous owner. I think the car seats fit better in a Toyota corolla which Is also a small vehicle, I think that car seats should fit into vehicles that come with 4 doors.
