The contact owns a 2010 Lexus Ls460 l. The contact stated while driving at 60 mph, the check engine and hazard warning light illuminated, and the vehicle decelerated independently. The vehicle was driven to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed of an engine misfire. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to the local dealer and was diagnosed with a fractured valve spring. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000.
