One problem related to transmission slip out of gear has been reported for the 2004 Lexus RX330. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When making a left turn or a right turn, the vehicle dropped out of gear then surged intermittently. The dealership inspected the vehicle and determined the transmission performed erratically. The transmission also failed intermittently while driving straight. The manufacturere claimed that this was a charaxteristic of the vehicle.
