Rear back up lights don't seem bright, cant see very well when backing up at night. Could be a potential incident in the future.

The backup lights on the new 2007 Lexus Rx350 backup lights are so dim that one cannot see when backing up. They are lens and do not have bulbs. I took the car to the dealership ,and they said they have had other complaints of the same nature, but that was the way the car was manufactured. I called Lexus customer service, and they said the same thing. This was a safety issue. It was dangerous to drive at night. I did not let my wife drive alone in this car at night. I have to get out and tell her how to back up. Ak.
